PR Constitution Day

Today we (Puerto Ricans) celebrate the day the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico became effective. You can find some more info right here. It's so frequent that we take things for granted, that I didn't want to let this opportunity go by. I'm not going to make any political remarks... I just wanted to let people know. Starting with ourselves, sometimes or most of the time we don't even know what holiday we're celebrating... we just celebrate them, because any day is good for partying... more so when it's a holiday. But not everybody takes time to think about why we have a day off work. (By the way, I don't have the day off because I don't live there anymore). You don't even have to agree with our Constitution or even the reasons why and circumstances under it was written. It just part of our history and the things that make us who we are.

Also, we just won our fifth Miss Universe title. Go Zuleyka!!!

By the way and changing topics, we had a blast last weekend in NYC. Pics coming soon.

Adios!
